All orders of government (federal, state, county and municipal) are responsible for their use of pesticides and all are regulators of pesticides in varying capacities. Please note the broad range of activities carried out in the delivery of pest management makes it impossible to cover all the regulations that can apply in every situation. It is the responsibility of a pest management manager to ensure that they are knowledgeable about the environmental regulations that apply to the specific activities and functions carried out by their facility and, as environmental law is constantly evolving, to stay current on changes to the legislation.
